How do I access the Internet?
The Internet workstations are available to everyone. While filtering software is being used on all Internet stations at the Public Library, parents need to assess their children’s Internet's usage. No Internet "police" or "librarians" or "headquarters" exist on the Internet and no software-based filter is 100% effective. The Library also provides wireless access to the internet that is available to everyone.

Fundraising for the Library
Since the mid-seventies the Library Friends have been earning money selling pre-owned books and donating the proceeds to the Library. The Library Friends solicit, collect, organize, and price thousands of books for public sales three times a year. The net proceeds are set aside to benefit the Library.
Significant contributions to the present building
After several years of saving book sale proceeds, the Friends in 1993 donated $7000 to purchase the chandelier that hangs in the main lobby. The beautiful light fixtures in the main lobby and on the second floor were made possible by the generosity of the Friends. In addition, a display cabinet was purchased that shows off the Lora Hussey doll collection.
